William “Will” Mander

With the heaviest of hearts, we come together to honour the life of our beautiful son, Will, who was taken from us far too soon. Will filled our lives—and the lives of everyone who knew him—with kindness, laughter, and a bright, gentle spirit. Will had a way of making people feel seen and cared for, and the memories he leaves behind will be treasured forever.

Will was a giver by nature. He was selfless, thoughtful, and always thinking of others, often before himself. Even in his passing, that generosity continues. In Will’s honour, and believing with all our hearts that it is what he would have wanted, the decision was made to donate his organs. Through this gift, Will has given others the chance at life, hope, and a future—an enduring reflection of the compassionate person he was at his core.

In Will's memory, we are raising funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital, whose dedication, care, and humanity supported our family during the most difficult time of our lives. The doctors, nurses, and staff provided strength, compassion, and kindness when we needed it most, and for that we will be forever grateful. By giving back, we hope to help ensure other children and families receive the same extraordinary care and support.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference—helping to save young lives and support vital organ donation and transplant services.
